<div dir="auto">As the Chair of the Tenancy Committee, I was not consulted about this request. I have reviewed the regulations, and the Tenancy Committee will not be paying for these extra cards as they are not a requirement at this time. Non UWA students should
not be in the club rooms between the hours of 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. and according to the regulations, only authorised key bearers may enter club rooms, these keys can only be borrowed out during working hours, therefore there should be no reason for a non UWA
member to be able to access these club rooms after hours.</div>

<div dir="auto">Furthermore, the bathroom facilities provided by the University is for university students and the card access intends that it should only be used by UWA students and staff after hours. </div>

This is just a quick follow-up from your call earlier - I've CC'd most <br>
Cameron Hall clubs and the Guild Tenancy chair (Taco).<br>
<br>
For reference, my suggestion was to issue clubs each with a small number <br>
of campus cards which can open the Guild toilets after hours. (maybe <br>
also the Law / Social Sciences bathrooms adjacent to Oak Lawn?) This way <br>
club members who aren't UWA students can use the toilets at their <br>
convenience, since they are starting to be locked after hours across <br>
campus.<br>

I haven't had a chance to run this past anyone, but if a small <br>
fee/deposit to issue campus cards is required then I'm sure Tenancy can <br>
handle it on behalf of clubs. As for checking whether clubs are looking <br>
after their cards, if UWA security wants regular updates, it may also be <br>
possible for Tenancy to include this in their clubroom inspection <br>
checklist (inspections typically occur every couple of months).<br>
