Hi all,

There's a lot going on on the list that warrants further
consideration, but I feel the need to address one point in
particular with urgency, as I have both heard and read accusations
relating to it already.

The OGM was scheduled as required to elect a new OCM. The
date and time was chosen by committee considering the
constitutional deadline and the fact that in my experience, lunch
meetings often clash with classes and other commitments. I made
the suggestion to have it around 5 pm, and others concurred.

Most importantly, the OGM was not scheduled with
any consideration or knowledge of the timetables of
individual members. It was also scheduled without knowledge of
motions that were later proposed by other members.

The suggestion that the meeting was scheduled at a particular
time to prevent the attendance of a specific member is untrue and,
frankly, absurd.

Thank you.
