has been an ongoing dispute between Andrew Adamson ([BOB]) and Felix
von Perger ([FVP]), the at-the-time UCC President. The committee held a
dispute resolution meeting on the 20th of September to address and
determine the dispute.</p><p style="margin:0px 0px 1.2em" class=""> During the process of the
meeting, Andrew Adamson indicated that the statement in his notice of
dispute still held - that should Felix step down or be removed from the
position of President, he would consider the dispute to be over as a
major reason for the dispute was the potential impact that Felix’s
actions as President have had on him. In addition, Felix von Perger
indicated that he was no longer interested in fulfilling the role of
President of the UCC committee and was only remaining in the position so
that the club would not need to go to a general meeting or need to
elect any further delegates to the various subcommittees that the club
is participating in.<br class=""></p><p style="margin:0px 0px 1.2em" class="">The ruling of that meeting on the 20th of September can be found in the text below:</p>
<blockquote style="margin:1.2em 0px;border-left:4px solid rgb(221,221,221);padding:0px 1em;color:rgb(119,119,119);quotes:none" class=""><p style="margin:0px 0px 1.2em" class="">Regarding the dispute
resolution, the committee acknowledges that Andrew has been negatively
affected by the events of the year. We believe that Felix as President
could have handled the issues better and that the actions as such have
led to negative impacts for people. The action may have had unintended
consequence, but the consequences must be considered nonetheless. </p><p style="margin:0px 0px 1.2em" class="">As such, in the light of the
events this year since the AGM, it is our view that it would be best for
the club if Felix were to resign as President. Considering the current
dispute, we do not believe that it is in the best interest of the club
to wash this over with the bureaucratic sprinkling of a reshuffle, so
we’d rather that a General Meeting be held so that any changes be done
formally.</p><p style="margin:0px 0px 1.2em" class="">Should Felix wish to retain
his position on the various subcommittees, we are happy for him to keep
his appointment as a delegate, and will not require that he remain on
committee to do so. We have checked the subcommittee regulations and
believe that this is within those regulations. </p>
</blockquote><p style="margin:0px 0px 1.2em" class="">Since then, Felix von Perger
has resigned from his position as President of the UCC committee, and
has decided to retain his position on the subcommittees of which he is
already a part. We thank him for his time on the UCC committee and all
the hard work that he has put in throughout his years at the club. </p><p style="margin:0px 0px 1.2em" class="">As such, as per Andrew’s notice of dispute and his confirmation at the meeting, the dispute has been resolved. </p><p style="margin:0px 0px 1.2em" class="">Kind regards,<br class="">Tom Almeida [THA]<br class="">UCC Treasurer</p></div></div>
