--></style></head><body lang=EN-AU link=blue vlink="#954F72"><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>Hello Club Committees,</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>UCC is looking into running a Interclub event, Artemis LAN, and would like to know if clubs are interested in being involved.</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Artemis is a Starship Bridge simulator, designed to give players the same feeling as being on a Star-Trek style Command Crew. There are multiple roles within the game, often requiring multiple players to effectively command one vessel. </p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>As a game, I believe its got a great cross-over between UniSFA, Unigames and UCC. It's a lot of fun to roleplay and The game itself is an homage to some classic SciFi series and themes.</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>In terms of running the event and accessibility, the game has a low technical requirements. I'm confident it will run on nearly any laptop. It is also fairly straight forward to run as a LAN, and requires no additional tech set up.</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>We've run an event like this before, once with other clubs and once with out. I've found that running this without other clubs didn't reach a critical mass of players.
