I feel joining Door is an opportunity for me to prove that I can helpful and take responsibility around in the club.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>In the short time that I’ve been at UWA, I’ve been a frequent visitor of the club room. I usually just do Uni work on my laptop, however I’m always up for chat whether it be about video games, Linux or UWAnime Karaoke.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I normally spend all day at UWA. When I’m not having lectures, I’m either in the clubroom or the library if the clubroom is closed. Apart from being in a robotics team that runs between 6:00pm-9:00pm on some weekdays, I don’t have any other commitments. As a member of Door, I’d be able to keep the club room open for those few hours of the day when there isn’t a Door Member available.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Prior to writing this application, I spent time thoroughly reading over the Committee Regulations, so I understand that I will be responsible for maintaining the room, promoting a friendly atmosphere and dooring individuals if need be.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Regardless of if I am accepted, as a member of UCC, I want to make an effort to make sure that everyone in the clubroom the feels welcome and included in the club.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Kind Regards,<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Alistair Parkinson<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div></body></html>
