<div>1,2: While we had already suspended his access to club resources, Ming stepped down from the committee voluntarily on the 1st of August.</div>

<div>3: We can confirm that Ming used some of our resources during his time as a member. However, it is important to note that he was not using them in any novel manner -- the club's resources are in no more of a privileged position than a personal computer,
or any other device connected to the University's Wi-Fi network. Additionally, Ming did not have any special access to our resources by virtue of being a committee member.<br>

<div>4: The matter is still before the court so I am limited in what information I can provide. The club was proactive in dealing with the issue and has cooperated with the University. Our committee and technical team responded promptly when required, and the
club (and I) thank them for their efforts.</div>

I am a technology & gaming sub-editor with Pelican Magazine. We are writing an article on the security breach incident where Ming Han Ong allegedly accessed student information on UWA's Callista system inappropriately.

Given that he was a member of the UCC committee, we wanted to give you the chance to comment on the story. I completely understand if you don�t want to comment or get involved, but we thought it would be best to give you the opportunity to respond - if you
wish.</div>

1- According to your publicly-available committee minutes, it appears that the student was a member of the UCC committee until at least the 26th of July. What was the date when he formally left the committee?</div>

2- Was he removed from the committee, or stepped down voluntarily?</div>

3- Do you know if any club resources were used in the breach?</div>

4- Is there anything you would like to add to the story, from the club�s perspective?</div>
