My name is Ari and I’m writing to you as the Secretary of the University Computer Club (UCC).<br>
<br>
Our club is always eager to engage with students from your Cybersecurity unit to share with them some information about our club and how to get involved in on-campus opportunities.<br>

We are planning on running a workshop in Week 2 Tuesday (4th March) which covers the basics of how to set up a virtual machine and use Linux, either using our servers or their own device. As well as any other computer or tech related questions they have starting
out. </span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Apple Color Emoji"">😊</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><br>

We hope this workshop will give students some more confidence and background knowledge for their studies, as well as fostering a supportive peer relationship.<br>

If it works for you we would love a few minutes at the beginning of your lecture on Monday Week 1 or 2 to introduce our club and what activities and opportunities we can offer the students, i.e. the workshop I described earlier.<br>
