Well, I don't pay the reasoning of your last paragraph, but the rest
of it makes sense. We'll see what people say - next edition, we'll
know to say that stuff must be CC licensed under whatever terms up
front. For this edition, I think it's perfectly reasonable for someone
to write back and say that they don't want their stuff licensed in a
certain way.
If there are only one or two exceptions, I'll just note them in the
document and license the rest whatever people are happy with.
