Welcome everyone after a few solid minutes of hard work the UCC now has a forum of its very own. But with great power, comes great responsibility. If we don't all work to keep this a fun place to hang out, then it gets taken away and shot, just like Uncle Ben.
So read the rules, adhere to them and remember to report infractions to the mods or site admin.
Forum Rules:
1. No Cheating. Period. We will not do your homework for you, we've probably already done that unit, and you won't learn anything anyway. Feel free to provide error logs or ask why something won't work. But if you haven't put in any effort, why should anyone else?
2. Use correct sentence structure. This includes correct capitalisation, spelling, grammar and punctuation and NO leet speak. Again, if you don't take the time to format your post in a readable format, why should anyone bother to write a readable reply?
3. A place for everything and everything in its place. We have 3 different sections. If you have a uni question, post in Academia, a tech/computer question put it in the Tech Lounge and if you really have the urge to post crud, please do so in the Quarantine.
4. Don't break the rules. First 3 infractions invoke a 1 week ban from posting. Fourth is a 1 month ban from posting. Fifth and last is a total ban - posting and reading for 12 month ban. If you do find yourself banned feel free to ask us why, because...
5. We're all human. This isn't an anonymous internet forum. Everyone here knows almost else, so no drama. Don't post something on the forums that you wouldn't yell out in Cameron Hall.
6. The Quarantine is there for a reason. To keep the stupid posts confined. It is only there as an anion to your rusty posts that will undermine the structure of the rest of the forum. It is not moderated and as such do not expect the rules above to be heavily enforced. But like an eroded anion, expect it to be regularly cleaned and if necessary trashed.
