Perhaps it is - check to see the logs haven't overflown, for example.

Back it up to the network first - it's gone a long time without a
reinstall and I'd hate to lose anything vital.

Yes, NEXTSTEP 3.3 media are in the labelled, large, yellow envelope
in the machine room, with Y2K patches, which were never applied to
Beige (but it seemed OK anyway...).
