Well, yes, at kernel installation time. Trouble is - whatever kernel we're
currently running doesn't have its System.map still about. The running
kernel version version is 2.2.9 - the same one I used when installing
mussel, but someone's obviously changed something since then.

Oh dear. mussel's having forking problems again.

mussel: /tmp>ls -l						#11:25AM
zsh: fork failed: resource temporarily unavailable

Time to compile a fresh new 2.2.14 kernel, and make sure System.map goes
with it. ::-) Try a Debian make-kpkg (apt-get install kernel-package;
zless /usr/share/doc/kernel-package/README.gz)
