BTW how much news is UWA getting these days? The PI feed has surpassed
10Gb/day, and we feed news to Optus and Optus at Home (since Optus at Home
weren't happy with the quality of a feed via Optus and wanted a direct
one) as well as feeding some to WAIX via Paradox (if that's working
correctly :-) so UWA should be getting most of the news sent via Optus
if they accept it all, but I'd be interested to know the total volume per
day. Anyone know?

(I almost wrote 'peer news with' Optus but then checked the stats... it's
about as feeble as most Australian news peers... under 100Mb comes back
our way each day. The only solid peer for incoming we have in Australia
is OzEmail - major porn supply :-). Somehow tho Optus is above us in the
freenix stats...)
