[tech] Locking problems

Hi all,

Some people have reported file locking problems. It was working 
earlier today, but Elm will not lock files over NFS at the 
moment. Mutt seems to work for me but not for other people.

Anybody know how to fix this -- restarting lockd didn't help, 
neither did restarting NFS on morwong.
