The prices of cheap unmanaged switches have come down and down - I
think our 8 port SVEC switch was $165 from Zeus. It's a cheaper and
crapper brand than the current UCC one, but it seems OK here.

Not everything will benefit much - having a switch for Xterms on the
130.95.13.64/26 network is probably a good idea, as is making sure the
130.95.13.0/26 network is as simple as possible. (MOP loads were
failing when we tried to tack extra bits onto the 130.95.13.0/26 for
the programming competition)
