You definitely want --disable-flock --enable-fnctl 

--use-nfs-fix probably wont do anything on morwong, but other UCC
machines which mount /home should have this set.

Thankyou for reminding me that the world still needs a good UNIX file
locking guide :-)  Perhaps the next time I can bear to face LyX again
