Foundry is bad. Extreme is good. Very very good.
Which switches were you looking at? I've played with
the black diamond (big slotted mother) and the summit-48
(48 port 10/100, dual gbic IIRC) .. there's two types
of Summit switches, one with all the cool new features
and one without. They may have stopped selling the
older models.
The config smells like CatOS in its layout. Mmmm.
