It's hard to tell what you mean...
If you want an external drive, then you need to get a 
DB-25 -> 50 pin SCSI cable. Internal drives are 
simple 50 pin IDC connectors crimped onto ribbon 
cable.

To get the system to recognise it, make sure it is 
allocated a unique SCSI ID - on a Mac you'll 
probably NOT want to set it at 0, 2 or 7. Then pray 
to the SCSI gods, and see if your hard drive 
formatting program recognises it.

Can you give use some more detailed info???
