[tech] mail from mussel

Mail sent from mussel has not been getting though for several days (since
Nov 6 to be eacxt). sendmail can't seem to find asclepius:

Nov  9 20:56:57 mussel
sm-mta[23111]: gA9Cuvej023111: gA9Cuvek023111: return to sender: Host
unknown (Name server: asclepius.uwa.edu.au.: host not found)

Actually, this might be related to the libc upgrade recently (NSS was
changed) ... hmm. Restarting sendmail doesn't seem to have an effect, so
it seems. I just installed a new sendmail, and it seems to have fixed the
problem. All the mail that didn't get sent is in
/var/lib/sendmail/dead.letter - do we want to process this mail somehow?
