Hmm... it didn't seem to mount manbo:/space/away/home at last boot (about
16 hours ago).

   $ df
   Filesystem           1K-blocks      Used Available Use% Mounted on
   /dev/sda3             16773508   1636184  14285356  11% /
   tmpfs                   773880         0    773880   0% /dev/shm
   /dev/sda2                73202      7410     61886  11% /boot

Since melanopus is reachable via madako I assume that it is on the
"insecure" net.  Would it be a good candidate for the NIS slave?
