[tech] Ubuntu mouse problem on cybium

I have noticed that Cybium's USB mouse does not work whilst booted into
Ubuntu.  Its kernel version is 2.6.10-5 and the usbcore module is
resident.

I am not familiar enough with debconf to examine the mouse config that was
selected during installation.  Anyone remember when the mouse was switched
over?
