BRIEF DESCRIPTION: A network outage is required to complete the 
implementation of the new distribution switch Tupac in the Science 
Library.

DATE:
Sunday, 20th March 2011

TIME:
09:00-12:00 (9:00 am - 12:00 noon)

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The buildings listed below will be connected to the 
new distribution switch Tupac and will thus lose connectivity while the 
switchover takes place.

AREAS AFFECTED: The outage will affect all network services including 
Internet, Staff and Student Networks, Wireless Networks, etc. in the 
following buildings:

1. Wills and Tatts Lecture Theatre 
2. Anatomy Lab G 45 
3. CTEC 
4. Psychology 
5. 39 Myers St

There is a HAZARD notice for:	
   Business School 
(we expect the Business School network to run as usual, as it has a dual link)


Successful completion will be assumed and no further notices will be sent out, unless the downtime
was unsuccessful and further action needs to be taken.
