[tech] Combtail RAM

I managed to get it to boot properly by pressing the "mem ok" button on 
the motherboard near the ram slots. I'm unsure what this button is 
supposed to do, why it exists, and whether or not it persists across 
reboots, but it does mean that the slot is not necessarily borked.
