Hi all,

Regarding the various budgets from the 2018 committee relating to
various computer-related components, I've compiled a list of all the
various things we want to buy and a suggestion of where they should be
purchased.

Many of these quotes were provided by [MSX] who is able to purchase
these at wholesale prices.

  * 2 x 144hz monitors
      o Budget: $500 AUD each ($1000 total), see minutes here

      o maybe an idea to get something more enterprise-grade?

Replacement parts for various failing hardware, see minutes here
<https://www.ucc.asn.au/infobase/minutes/2018/2019-03-07.ucc>

  * dead disks in molmol:
      o Budget: $600 for some super-fancy PCIe SSD thing to be used as a
        journal drive, such as this
        <https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Hard-Drives-&-SSDs/SSD-2.5-&-PCI-Express/70481-SSDPED1D280GASX>
      o Budget: $100 for a ~250GB SSD to replace the failed system disk
        (ie. Samsung 860 PRO/EVO)
  * failing / dead disks in motsugo:
      o note, we already have one spare WD Black 2TB on the rack, 2
        disks are failing
      o Budget: $190 for an additional WD Black 2TB

Please let me know what bits people are able to buy and when so we don't
accidentally end up buying multiple lots of things.

Best regards,
[FVP]
