<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr">Evening All,<div><br></div><div>While looking into a mail forwarding issue, I&#39;ve picked up that SSSD/kerberos seems to be fairly unhappy on mooneye at the moment. We&#39;re seeing the following error in daemon.log every 5-10 minutes:</div><div>mooneye [sssd[krb5_child[9901]]]: Preauthentication failed</div><div><br></div><div>Everything seems to be working ok otherwise, but it&#39;s not making me feel warm and fuzzy seeing regular  kerberos issues on our main mail server. I&#39;m not currently across the AD auth well enough to want to go poking too deeply into what&#39;s going on lest I break things so does anyone more familiar with the setup have any ideas?</div><div><br></div><div>A quick survey around out other machines, we&#39;re seeing the same error logged infrequently (&lt;10 times a day) on a number of our other Linux machines. None as frequently as mooneye however. It may just be noise, but worth looking at.</div><div><br></div><div>Regards,</div><div>F.</div><div></div></div></div>
