[ucc-announce] Video Conferencing for the 25th - Participate!

Hi everyone,

Yet one more message (and hopefully the very last, even though that
was said last time as well :-) for the UCC 25th Anniversary on Sunday.

If you can't make it to the 25th, please join us online with CU-SeeMe
video-conferencing.  We're hoping that that everyone who cannot make
it will participate virtually for the grand event.

With just your computer and an internet connection you can view the
event online - all you need to do is download and install CU-SeeMe
software for your operating system and connect to iiNet's video
conferencing server set up especially for the event.  The server is
muzak.iinet.net.au and the conference ID is 0.

With CU-SeeMe for Windows, just click on Manual Dial, then enter the
server name in the field and the CU-SeeMe client should connect fine.
You can get a demo of CU-SeeMe from White Pine SOftware's ftp site -
ftp://ftp.wpine.com/, or any TUCOWS mirror, such as
http://tucows.iinet.net.au or http://www.tucows.com

Versions for windows and macintosh are available at the above sites, and
other versions for other operating systems are available on the net too
- if you can't find it, please email us and we'll try and find it for
you :-)

If you have a soundcard and/or video camera and capture card, this is
fantastic - you can transmit sound and/or video too!  If you don't,
you'll still be able to chat on the IRC-like chat facility in CU-SeeMe.
