[ucc-announce] Murphy's Lore: Pimp My Language Edition

Hey hey everyone

It's time for another edition the of the UCC's magnificent mag,
Murphy's Lore. As your humble self-appointed editor I've decided it's
time to produce a "Pimp My Language" edition.

Pick a language you know and write an article about it. Why is it
cool? Why is it fast, slow? Why does it regurgitate furballs? Write an
introduction for a newbie. Anything language pimping related is great.
I'd love to see articles on (at least) Haskell, Python, Ruby, LOLCAT,
C++ (can someone explain what's neat in the new version?). Someone
should throw in some really unpleasant and gory Perl as well.

All articles accepted of course, so write about anything cool you've
been doing. Send your submissions to me directly, and I'll collate it
all together. Oh, and submissions should be under the " Creative
Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike" license or similar; let
me know terms if they differ.

Thanks in advance for the pile of submissions I'm about to drown under!
