[ucc-announce] Events: cleanup, LAN and Movies: Hackers

Three coming events!

CLUBROOM CLEANUP
================

A cleanup for the clubroom has been declared for Saturday 11 April 
from 1pm. All door members are expected to attend or send apologies to 
committee-only at ucc - others are most welcome, and if you're thinking about 
becoming a door member, attending a cleanup is a good way to show you're 
interested in maintaining the club environment.

UCC::LAN 2009.1
===============

This Easter break, bring your best gaming rig (or any gaming rig) down to 
the Cameron Hall loft (next to the UCC clubroom) for UCC::LAN! Starting on 
Saturday 11 April at 5pm, and going through until the next morning, 
UCC::LAN is a great way to start the study break.

Traditionally games that will be played are decided by consensus, but you 
can expect TF:2, Left 4 Dead, DoTA and even a bit of classic Quake III. 
It's also a good opportunity to sit in the UCC hacking away at your 
favourite project until early in the morning.

Bring your computer, A POWER BOARD, A NETWORK CABLE, and HEADPHONES, as 
well as some money for pizza and snacks. Entry is free for members and $5 
for non-members.

MONDAY AT THE MOVIES: HACKERS
=============================

After you've recovered from the LAN, join us on Monday night in the loft 
again to watch the 1995 classic, "Hackers". This movie is both an absolute 
crackup and an opportunity to see how lucky we are that the UCC is not a 
rollerblading rink.

The movie starts at 6pm, and there will probably be pizza organised 
shortly beforehand.
