Message-ID: <775a92d90905050921x4449bd5cjdbfebc49b981d470@mail.gmail.com> Hello Everyone, As you may have heard, we will be getting married shortly! If you haven't heard, apparently the grapevine has failed us. Sorry about that. In any case, we will be having a relatively simple garden wedding ceremony on Sunday the 31st of May, followed by a garden tea reception, and we would very much like for anyone who wants to celebrate with us to be able to do so. Given the number of people who are potentially interested we were worried we might accidentally miss someone, so we thought we would put out a general invitation to everyone. Unfortunately we are running behind schedule, so this is going out quite a bit later than we would have liked, for which we apologise profusely. Anyway, if you would like to attend our wedding, please let us know and we will send you the details. Obviously the sooner you are able to let us know, the better. Also, if you know anyone who might be interested, please don't hesitate to pass on the message. Hopefully we will see many of you on the day! :) Jen and Chas -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Monday at the Movies: The American Astronaut ============================================ Monday, 25 May 2009 7:00 PM Samuel Curtis, an interplanetary trader, sets forth through a rustic and remote solar system, unaware that his old friend Professor Hess is trying to kill him. This movie featured as the sympathy prize for the LCA2003 bids, and is apparently "the duck's nuts" (not my words). Come join us for the last Monday at the Movies for the semester. The movie starts at 7pm, and there will probably be pizza organised shortly beforehand. UCC LAN: Independence LAN ========================= Saturday, 4 July 2009 5:00 PM UCC LAN returns (this time hopefully with both a legitimate venue and attendees). Join us to fight the forces of oppression in the Cameron Hall loft (above the UCC) by playing computer games. Bring your computer, a powerboard, some headphones, and a LAN cable. You'll also want some money for pizza, and $5 for entry if you're not a UCC member. Forecast is for large amounts of TF:2, with a possibility of Warcraft III: DotA and even the return of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Isolated squalls of Freelancer are likely. --- The Colonial Cleanup will be held before the LAN from 2pm for all door members - if you'd like to become a door member, attending a cleanup is a great way to start showing you're interested in the club's welfare. Now get back to studying! David Adam UCC Committee 2009 zanchey at ucc.gu.uwa.edu.au
