[ucc-announce] UCC April (Easter) LAN - April 10, 2010

I accidentally told [BOB] to send the details to ucc at ucc instead of
ucc-announce at ucc and apparently some of you are wondering what the hell is
going on with the LAN this weekend - my apologies if you've already had this
email and RSVPd!

The UCC Easter LAN is fast approaching! In fact, it's this weekend.

So come along to Cameron Hall from 3pm this Saturday.

Games to be played include, but are not limited to:
- Team Fortress 2
- Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (free! and mirrored at UCC)
- Warcraft III
- Age of Empires 2: Conquerors (mirrored at UCC on the night)
- Halo 3 (we supply the xbox 360, game, and controllers!)
- Freelancer

Prizes for:
- Winners of a TF2 5v5 knockout tournament
- Halo 2v2 tournament
- AOE2 game

You should bring:
- Headphones
- Computer
- Network cable
- Power board
- Mouse pad
- Pillow (unless you are brave enough to use a UCC cushion)
- Some money for food/drink and $10 for entry

Places are limited to 45-ish (not many left - get in quick!), to guarantee
your place send an email to lan at ucc.asn.au

On another note, thanks for your patience while we've been working to
restore services - a hard working group of members have now got most of the
servers going and the clubroom is on it's way to being fixed (more on that
another time though).
