DESCRIPTION OF WORK



UWA's internet link will be migrated from the 1Gbps service on the Old
Network through to the 10Gbps service on the New Network.



10pm ? 4am Normal internet services (IPv4) won't be available during
this period.



4am ? 5am Internet bound multicast service (e.g video conferencing)
will be disrupted.



5am-6am Internet bound IPv6 won't be available during this period.



AFFECTED AREAS:



The whole campus including remote sites.



SERVICES AFFECTED:



Internet access (see above).

All UCC services will be offline from 7am to 8am for RCD testing.

A hazard window also exists for tomorrow (Wednesday, October 12 2011)
while the electricians are poking around re-doing the circuit
documentation and are working out what's what.

Hello UCC Members,

Come to the UCC's 35th Birthday dinner! Its been a more than two years  
since the last dinner, so I'm sure people are feeling pretty hungry by  
now. This is a good opportunity to catch up with (or even meet) other  
ucc members, old or new, without the current inconvenience of finding  
a place to sit (or stand) in our clubroom. Knowing the ucc, the  
conversations will probably be interesting to say the least.
