Good morning UCC,

The UCC will be hosting another programming competition this year (the  
last one was held at the end of 2010).

This time, contestants are given an opportunity to demonstrate their  
inner genius by writing an AI to play the popular board game of  
Stratego.

Stratego is a simple board game of incomplete information, which (as  
the name may suggest) allows for a wide range of strategies involving  
both initial piece setup and subsequent game play. Competing AIs will  
play against each other.

The competition is now open and will be held on the 10th of March. For  
those who are interested, more information is available on the
