Ah, uni holidays - perfect time for a LAN!

 

What: UCC MegaLAN

When: Saturday 21st July 3pm to 10am Sunday

Where: Acorn Cafe, above the Ref - see Guild Map

Price: $15, $10 for UCC members. Payments can be made by dispense (will be
set up shortly) or to Trent Bersan, collect tickets from Trent.

There will be tickets available at the door, but please try to RSVP and
purchase tickets beforehand if possible.

                Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase throughout
the event, and if we have enough definite attendees (at least 30) there will
be a slushy machine.

                An official pizza run will be made in the evening.

Two rooms! Big screens! Room vs. room competitions!

 

Games: Team Fortress 2 Tournament and Age of Empires 2 Tournament - please
form teams beforehand. There will be prizes.

                Other games include League of Legends, Starcraft 2,
Wolfenstein: ET and others - if you have preferences include these in you
RSVP to lan at ucc.asn.au.

                Also, console games on Wii and Xbox.

 

We will provide: A chair and desk space, one gigabit capable wired network
connection, one power socket and sleeping space.

You should bring: Your computer, headphones, power cables to run your rig
from a single power point, sleeping bag, etc.
