[ucc-announce] UCC AGM 2014, Tuesday March 11th 1pm

Hi all,

The UCC will have it's AGM for 2014 in just under 4 weeks, on Tuesday the 
11th of March, at 1pm in the Council Meeting Room at UWA (above the 
Student Services offices). At the AGM, all current members present will 
vote to elect the 2014 committee positions; president, vice president, 
treasurer, secretary, three ordinary committee members (OCMs), and one 
fresher representative (fresher rep). Additionally, some other important 
matters may be discussed and voted on, including policy changes for the 
Door and Coke groups.

Before the AGM, I would like to invite any and all  nominations for the 
above positions, to be sent to me via email. As a committee members, this 
will be your chance to influence what happens with UCC this year, whether 
it be events or any equipment and tech purchases, so make sure you get 
yourself nominated by another, or send a nomination in for yourself. 
Nominations will also be accepted at the AGM.

The current agenda for the AGM can be found at 
http://wiki.ucc.asn.au/AGM2014Agenda. You can add any agenda items 
yourself by editing that page, by using the 'agenda' script (connect to 
motsugo to be safe), or by emailing me.

If you don't know where the Council Meeting Room is, ask a committee 
member or join the majority of people heading that way from the clubroom 
just before 1pm.

As a final note, we won't allow proxy votes for the AGM, but I'm sure 
someone will argue with me on that.
