1.	What did we think of Panto?

Leah thinks it’s the best panto she’s seen. Everything worked well together, dancing and singing was good, Leah loved it. Especially the cellblock tango part.
My mum went to see it and she called me right afterwards and said it was good and she liked Sloth which is good cos Sloth is my baby.


2.	Committee Reports

President

Toby is not here, she sent in her report:

“This week I amended some camp documents. I made the EMP for the de-stress pajama party which has been approved. I emailed Jack again about the leak and electrical stuff and got a response. Someone came to look at the powerpoint and apparently it is ow [sic] mysteriously working without him having had to do anything??? I've been organising a camp meeting, please answer the poll in the event page. I worked out where we got the vacuum. It was donated by Alice's mother I believe. I've also checked that I'm now actually getting SOC emails. Sadly I had to cancel my screening due to uni work and am now mysteriously sick again.

ALSO: Panto was hella rad everyone please go”

Vice President

Leah is so close to being free, just has her thesis left now. Essays and units are done except for exams which don’t exist. Leah just wants to be free. But that’s all Leah has been doing, she has no regrets.

Secretary

I have been working on homework and halloween fanfiction all week and I have no shame, fight me. I am seeing Panto tonight. I’m hungry…

Treasurer

Tim went on a fridge run, thanks Ryan for helping. We have icy poles and paddle pops now (we no longer have paddle pops thanks to Jake) because it is Summer. Clearly we need another fridge run for ice creams. And we have more icy poles in the cupboard if we run out of them. He didn’t do much else, he got sick and his house was almost broken into which isn’t good.

Librarian

Brooke doesn’t remember what she did. She went to panto, it was excellent. She has some things for general business but exams are too close for anything much.

Fresher Rep

Um. Marlea hasn’t done much this week. She talked about about destress with Toby. Will make cover art for that, it’ll be awesome. Other than that, Marlea is dying.

OCM Report - Jake

Jake talked to Jack about the thing, the screening thing with SPACE. We will wait until their OGM to work with their new committee on that, so it should be in November sometime. He can do that. We just need to choose a movie. Maybe Interstellar? Other suggestions are fine, it depends on what SPACE want. The Martian might be good? He is watching panto on Saturday. Has general business.

OCM Report - Jono

Jono is being a good son and picking his mother up at the airport, he has sent his report:

“Well done everyone at panto! I was especially impressed with the song and dance numbers. I made the teaser poster for camp as well as the event. Looking forward to adding things to that over time. Could make it a fun little media campaign. I didn't end up doing a sausage sizzle because I had this overwhelming feeling that it wouldn't be successful so I'm sorry about that. I did claim a bunch of bacon though which can still be picked up so maybe we can do something with that? Looking forward to counting the money in the tin though once the current hair tally finishes. Asked Relay organisers when the fundraising would end and didn't get a reply so I think I should do this today, preferably before Westpac closes. P.S. If my Uber Driver app starts working y'all can call me Johnny-5-Jobs.”

OCM Report - Patrick

Patrick has sorted out with the charity vigil shadow committee that money is now in UniGames’ account and today will talk about sending it off to Black Dog. He has also organised to get the camp approved, finalised a lot of docs for that. Minimum activities for club because he’s had no time. But like it’s the crunch time for assessments and also panto is on so it’s okay.



3.	Last Week’s Action Items

I made the screenings post. Now it is Marlea’s turn.
Brooke and Marlea are going to do leadership training over the Summer.


4.	Events

The EMP for the pyjama party was approved, so Marlea please make the art and send it to Toby she’ll make the event. Marlea will hopefully make the art today.
Do we have any other major events coming up? No, not really. Just the Halloween screening.
Leah hasn’t done anything about the LARP but fuck it she’s got time. Can she contact events during Summer? No, but she’ll contact them during exam period.
And that’s about it? Jono’s not here so we can’t talk about UniSFA Goes yet.


5.	Camp

We’re not having a camp meeting today because Toby is sick.
But we need to allocate people to events, there’s going to be a quiz night and a LARP etc. Some people have voiced interest in forming the quiz. So next week there’ll be a meeting, we can sort out things for that.
Patrick needs a lot of docs from people. He has your addresses.
The second the EMP is approved we ned to start advertising it. Do we have a ticket design or a thing for people to sign? We have a sign-up form. Tickets may be difficult and people will lose them.
Brainstorm names for the camp? Toby wants people to remember to fill out the poll for next week’s camp meeting.


6.	Book Themes

What happens next? Toby wants the next theme to be Pride, cos November is the month for Pride parade.
We need a poster. Just put up the cast of this panto, as writerIknow none of the characters are straight. Marlea can make the poster for that, it’ll be good.
Can we recommend our own fanfiction? Yes. Sweet.
Also come up with any and all relevant books for this theme.


7.	Screenings

Halloween screenings? Annique wants to screen either Stranger things but Brooke also has Carmilla and I want to screen OTGW.
Monday is Halloween movies.
Tuesday DC with Nat.
Wednesday will be Over the Garden Wall.
Thursday will be Stranger Things.
Friday is Legend of Korra.


8.	General Business

Vacuum cleaner.
There are tutorials online for vacuum cleaner cleaning and maintenance. Toby would like us to look into potentially fixing the vacuum ourselves or see if it’s cheaper to buy a new one. Does someone want to look at fixing it. Jake isn’t here. Jake can do it. Jake, fix the vacuum. We don’t think it’s fixable, but Jake will get dusty  which is funny and he’s not here to say no.
Waifu poll ideas
Wasn’t it maternal figure of the week? Or halloweenie of the week? Spookiest waifu. Yes okay. Someone send that idea to Toby. Pat will do that.
Fridge Run
For our new two-week schedule, we need a fridge run. We need Freddos but they’re not on sale so now I’m sad. Also paddle pops. Tim will look to see what we need.
Leak
Apparently thers’ some kind of stop gap in the roof right now so it shouldnt leak. leah hasn’t heard that, she knows its been patched up for ages. ut we’re not sure. brooke doesnt want to move the books back. but apparently they have permission to put in a new membrane, but are waiting for money to come in. Can we replace them? no, most are really old and out-of-print.
Charity
How much charity stuff does UniSFA do? Relay, vigil, prosh. Do we want to arrange more things like volunteering at dog shelters? Well no that’s not really things UniSFA does. We encourage people to go to the book sale? If Marlea personally thinks people would like to do things like that, she can organise a UniSFA Goes to Charity. She can talk to Jono about that.
Room Upkeep
Please people, clean up things. Throw out your trash. Turn on the lights. Door members, remember to open both doors and turn on the lights when opening the clubroom. This is on the CCC form, can we get that signed? What’s up with that? Also, can we focus on keeping the entrance to the dungeon clear? It’s not a dumping zone for bags.
