Committee Reports President Assessments are stressing, it?s okay to be stressed about assignments. People should delegate to less stressed people. Annique has assignment on Friday and then none for 3 weeks. Have fixed deep thought and the name is acceptable. Uni Sfa Uwa is working right now so we can make events with that. We now have over 500 members. Also ran a lucifer screening, had quizmittee meeting, shadowmittee meeting and went onto the fridge run. The cameron hall first aid is confirmed and Annique dealt with lost property. Also received a thumb drive from Simon and then returned it Vice President He made a cool sign, talked to casey so stay tuned. Myguild is still down which is very annoying but there is a neat way to get around it. Just clear your browser cache or incognito mode on google chrome works. Although be careful because people could steal passwords as it is still vulnerable. Secretary Helped get some prizes for quiz night, unsubscribed some people, mild screaming over assignments Treasurer Ran the twilight zone screening and gave money for fridge run, thanks to Jack and Annique. He formed a ccc/committee table for quiz night, made a deposit to finance and applied for first aid training. Librarian Have put up next book theme, got prizes from white dwarf and we may have more prizes for other events as we got a lot from White Dwarf and are still yet to get the rest from other places. Also ran a final fantasy screening, it was cool and people liked it. Did large amount of assessments which are now complete. Also actually found a donor for a book that was removed It was Bird Smugglers but they didn?t want it as they had a copy already. Fresher Rep The shitposting screening with Fin is good for freshers and Fin gets the cool kids. They are alive and doing well. Also ate a new vegetable this morning which was a pickle. OCM Report - Finley They got exactly 69% on an assessment which is the biggest accomplishment. Ran shitpost with Fin which has a great turnout, OCM Report - Kurt ahhhhh continues with even more assessments including a cover letter in Japanese, have put some thought on the poster 2. Events * Book Club discussion * it will have been done by the time this happens but it looks like it will be interesting and people should write reviews for this theme * Unisfa Goes Panto * Happening tomorrow, nothing to report but people should come. * Cameron Hall Quiz Night * They had a meeting and they have fun stuff planned. There are posters around and people have been commenting on them. The prizes are pretty much done and we are selling tickets. Panto is doing tickets for their next show, UCC is giving away two $25 varsity vouchers. It will be 5-5:30 set up with a door prize and we might use unigames money box but we need to check keys for money box in there. The doors close at 6 and the door prize closes at 6:30. There are a lot of quizmittee updates * Simon will pick up the rest of prizes on Friday * Cameron Hall First Aid * Harry signed up and it exists, Annique has posted details to people and the link will be added to the minutes. It costs $85 and you will need a code. The date is 20th of May from 10am-6pm. It is a good thing for people to do and will be in the sue boyd room. * Unisfa Goes Alien * Kai is good for that day and has all of the movies but it will be the same day as first aid however people can go to the movie afterwards. The cinema does not have showing times for that day but the saturday the week before is 6:45 or 9:30 so will probably be the same. If it starts at 9:30 it will end at 11:30-12am, due to ads so we could make it the 6:45 movie. We don?t want to assume bus timetables though. We will need action plan by next committee meeting * Unisfa Goes Zoo * The emp is approved but if people purchase alcohol, they are no longer part of the event and we are no longer responsible for them. * We need to make this the policy for the event, * If we?re broken up into groups, Finley asks how do we handle first aiders. Edward explains that it will be a self guided tour and we get to do what we want with a debrief at the start and everyone given Ed?s number. The zoo does have sufficient first aiders so we should be fine. There will be an end meeting point and people need to call Ed if leaving early. Also a lunch time debrief and let someone on committee know if leaving early * various perth zoo things that will need to be debriefed * people need to turn up on time because they will not be able to get in otherwise * Welfare Week * still have not heard about emp due to my guild being a thing * I just need to talk to Harry about a budget for biscuits, milk, tea and maybe some colouring in stuff * Halloween party? * Annique has talked to Panto about it and Julia is talking of a cameron hall party which could be more viable. It could be fun for us. Toby and Annique have talked about it and Ed loves it. It could be like cameron hall quiz night with a subcommittee but we don?t need to start planning for a while. * Panto was thinking more of a charity vigil type thing, so we?ll see what people want to do * Annique wants to do something with UWAnime, * Screening cross event outside of Cameron Hall * with UWAnime, something we haven?t screened before * could be some cool events, a short series, slightly bigger than our normal screenings, like lecture theatre level?, we?ll talk with uwanime * Physics society Scavenger Hunt * scavenger hunt thing, everyone finds roll-ups, more clubs involved could be around campus clubrooms, * good for advertising clubroom, more clubs outside cameron hall? lockboxes and codes to crack, great end of year event, riddles and stuff, usually do it throughout physics building because they have access to it * physics would be hosting it and doing the emp for it, we would only get one person on the subcommittee, committee members fight for that spot, * LARP * Have made contact with Liam, Kurt will ask Leah about past LARP events, Liam will know everything, He?ll be focussing on the quest so someone else will have to do the emp. * Camp * Ed has talked to Kasey, DARE offers archery, looking into that, there are some issues, can probably be worked through but need more info from DARE. Ed has sent them a lot of questions and will ring them if they haven?t responded by the end of the week. Kasey says that archery can be done if we know what their insurance is like and she signs off it. We need to look at the LARP and we need a camp subcommittee meeting again. * people need to get their food safety training, RSA, first aid, 3. Screenings * Monday - Lucifer w/Simon * Tuesday - final fantasy w/Tom * Wednesday - committee meeting, it?s open * Thursday - Shitposting w/Finley - scooby doo * Friday - quiz night - people should come 4. Facebook Pages * Uni Sfa UWA seems to be working, so hope it works, go fin it * Ed made the Alien event and the Facebook account works * if you make an event using Uni Sfa - make yourself the co-host so you can edit it * Screenings page * older members were annoyed by screenings notifications which was the reason for the page * we need to think about it and we will discuss it at the next committee meeting 5. Book Removal Book Appeals * No appeals for any books this week Books up for Removal Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk * Book about a teenage girl is physically disfigured and experiences the social isolation that comes from it, explores identity issues, no appeals * Motion to remove book from the library - motion passes unanimously Books for Removal List The Man in the Brown Suit by Agatha Christie * A murder mystery book which includes diamond mines and archaeology * similar to Hannibal in terms of genre novels, is it relevant? never been checked out * Motion to add to Book Removal list - motion passes with 7 votes for and 1 abstention 6. Tenancy * Compact bookshelves * Will need to talk to Chris about them 7. General Business * Food above the fridge * practice run for if people want crisps and things * Abstaining and conflict of interest * according to committee handbook of uwa, at start of new topic for people to declare conflict of interest and they decide whether they then want to abstain * if you think that your vote will be influenced by your own personal benefit * if you do abstain, it no longer counts as a vote. * Lost property * dealt with and anything remainder has been sent to the guild Finley?s Positive Message of the Week ?Everyone is cool and doing a good job? Harry?s Negative Message of the Week ?I despise you all? Finish: 5:55pm Action Items Annique - Send Natasha links, camp subcommittee Edward - action plan for unisfa goes alien, camp subcommittee Natasha - Talk to Harry about budget, camp subcommittee Harry - Look at what we need for fridge run Simon - read his committees? minutes, get prizes Katherine - food safety, camp subcommittee Finley - food safety, camp subcommittee Jack - stay alive Kurt - food safety, posters -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Also got books for book removal list and ran two screenings which went well. Fresher Rep signed up a fresher, they are alive and fresh. Joined forces with unigames and have a full fresher table, attended camp scrubmittee meeting, and will sign up for mental health first aid course. OCM Report - Finley camp scrubmittee was good, was there and did their best and planned new screening. OCM Report - Kurt Finally feeling human, went to LARP meeting. camp posters have started to be made. 2. Events * Unisfa Goes to Panto * It was a good pantomime, people enjoyed it. We should do this again. * Cameron Hall Quiz Night * Friday night, come down and buy tickets, need to buy tickets if you have a table organised. If you have bought them but don?t have the tickets, please get them from a committee member. will be super fun, lots of bright ideas, see Annique dressed up and they will take bribes, officially. Don?t buy drugs. * Cameron Hall First Aid * Is a thing, and a go. Sign up if you want to. * Unisfa Goes Alien * Same day as first aid. in evening going to see new film at Innaloo, official screening times still not out and Kai has not decided when they will start screening the movies. We need to make sure there will be someone to hold the room. Annique will go to the screening as will Brooke. * Unisfa Goes Zoo * slight hiccup with money, need a purchase order to pay there, not something we can do in this time frame, everyone will bring money on the day, or we withdraw money and then receive money from people there. Harry will monitor paying back. Ed will carry the float. Prices not quite confirmed, 17$ pp, or $16 if Ed gets in for free depending on numbers on the day. * Unisfa/UWAnime events * No updates yet * Halloween Party * Very far away, probably need a subcommittee made in semester 2. Annique will talk to Julia from Panto * Physics Club Scavenger Hunt * no updates yet * LARP * Kurt took some lovely notes, he will post the minutes in the committee page. Unisfa is working with Bram for aesthetics and logistics of decorating and setting up cameron hall. Co-ordinating with Panto for that. Big LARP, early next year, mini LARP mid year. Annique wants Kurt to bring up the rearranging of Unisfa clubroom. * Welfare Week * We are getting stress balls from Patrice and she give a talk at 2 to the clubroom at the Pyjama party on the Friday. will do Ghibli movies for it and a combined bake day and bob ross screening on the Tuesday * Relay for Life * We?ve gotten emails about this years relay for life, Ed suggests putting an OCM on it. It?s a fun time and spend time with friends. Committee will do ruin committee?s hair again to raise money. Simon has offered up to make him wear pink leopard print jeggings at the relay if enough money is raised. If more money is raised, Simon will wear them on Mondays. Kurt is put in charge of it because he knows what the cool kids like. * Camp * Scrubmittee looked at RMP, sign up sheet, we can do archery! Can do as long as Kasey is okay with it but because of the insurance stuff Ed sent along it shouldn?t be knocked back. On June 24th, Ed and Finley will go to see the place because the map they sent did not show the doors. Also they?ll look at locations and where the LARP will be. 3. Screenings * Monday - Lucifer w/Simon * Tuesday - Final Fantasy w/Tom * Wednesday - Committee meeting and Twin Peaks w/Annique * Thursday - Book Discussion w/Leah * Friday - Danger Five w/Annique if Theo can?t make it then Predator 4. Facebook Pages * Harry agrees that not enough people are coming to the screenings this year as they were last year. Annique agrees as people are not realising that they can join the page and the screenings themselves are important for the clubroom and new members. * Tim says that Facebook is designed to get notifications and if you don?t want notifications, turn them off. * Jack says that it is inhibiting people coming to screenings as people don?t know about the page * Annique says that people are getting a lot of notifications. Could they click not going? Some people don?t want to and they get inundated with invitations * Annique says that Uni Sfa is working, might use that instead. The event will be posted on unisfa if Uni Sfa creates it but you will only get invited if you are friends with Uni Sfa. * Annique recommends abolishing the screening page and have a transitionary page. Make sure that people can discuss this and get used to the idea and then use the Uni Sfa Deepthought page for screenings. * Ed brings up that some people including older members who are more interested in big events and not screenings and friended Uni Sfa because of that. Annique and Jack ask whether these people come to big events? * Ed thinks that it could be due to poorly advertised screening page * Annique says that it is difficult though to constantly advertise * Natasha says that there are a lot of things already to add new members into with the group page, the screenings page and Uni Sfa. * Katherine asks about how the Facebook pages run currently * Ed suggests that someone should get the feedback, Annique volunteers for this * Annique brings up the comments from the last minutes posting, we need to advertise the opt-in part, * Jack says that we shouldn?t split our demographic and that in an ideal world it would be opt-out but that?s not happening * Annique moves to advertise the shutting down of the screenings page and in two weeks close it down for good. * Motion to shut down the screenings page in 2 weeks - Motion passes unanimously * This week will continue with screening page, then second week will be both Uni Sfa and screenings page and then after the 2 week period the screenings page will be shut down. * Annique also suggests do a periodic friending of everyone starting next semester with Uni Sfa. * We will discuss the pinned posts in a weeks time, Annique will make a post about it on the Facebook page. 5. Committee Reports President Quiz night was a thing that happened and profit was made! The sub-committee meeting for it will happen later. Ran a screening, went on a fridge run, tenancy stuff sorted which was stressful stuff. Assignments have also been done, got batteries for tv remote. Harry threw one out. He vehemently defends himself. Went to STAR policy making meeting, discussed Unisfa's position on things. Have a meeting after this meeting with the person running for treasurer for the proposed Harry Potter association Vice President Made a bunch of cool signs for lost property and saved books. Has finding nemo for the lost property one. Also did stationary. Stacked stuff in freezer so can people put things in so things don?t fall out and arranged payment for zoo with harry Secretary I made the events for Welfare Week stuff, signed up for Mental Health First Aid course in June and went to the Cameron Hall Quiz Night which went really well and thanks to everyone who organised that. Treasurer Did a fridge run which was eventful albeit a few blunders which Annique helped with, went to quiz night, did deposit and did essay. Also sorted out details for zoo with Edward. Librarian Have now gone from A to K in the library for looking for irrelevant books. Also ran two screenings which people liked. And helped out the harry potter society from Curtin to see what we?ll do with them. Fresher Rep Went on a fridge run and no-one died No-one has informed Katherine that they have died. Had a fresher table for quiz and either people had fun or they cared enough to fake having fun. OCM Report - Finley Ran scooby-doo screening and people enjoyed it. Finley enjoyed the menu music. Did an assignment and we should give women more jobs. Kept jack alive. He?s a good egg and we?re proud of him. But not until he kills some people in his campaign. OCM Report - Jack Sends his apologies for missing the meeting OCM Report - Kurt Gahhhhhh resumes. Also did eurovision screening, 8 people showed up, many shitposts. If you want to see them, go to event page for it. Found out relay for life is an event. 2. Events * Cameron Hall Quiz Night Follow-up * was an event that happened and was successful with a lot of people buying tickets at the door. 99 people went to the event not including the judges. 99 people handed in at front and they also sold a few more. The throwing away money game raised $175. This may not be correct but still close. * suggestions - more preparations regarding music round - need to check on music and things beforehand by Corin * The food was good by Kurt * maybe after each round give the list of questions? Finley * bonus question after each one? - Corin * Annique went to a panto meeting and they talked about the quiz night. There may have been some miscommunication between directors and people running quiz night * maybe a different prize structure - may need to bring up in sub-quizmittee * Annique will message harry after sub-quizmittee * We also may need to reconsider structure of quizmittee * There will be more info after sub-quizmittee meeting * Cameron Hall First Aid * Only 5 people that have signed up. There are more people that are interested but haven?t signed up. * need people to actually sign up for this * Unisfa goes Alien * Kai has worked out the schedule, they?ve decided on the 9:45 but there is an 8:30. There is a lot of re-scheduling and so there will be Alien, Aliens, Prometheus and then going to the new movie at 8:45. Annique wants to talk to Kai about this because there are a lot of events happening that night so people may not be able to come. * how many people are going to first aid and wanting to go to the event? We are not sure. * Annique, Kai and Edward will discuss the plan for this * Unisfa Goes to the Zoo * Harry and Edward have discussed numbers for the float and have that locked down. They will withdraw 400 in 50?s, 100 in 5?s. Annique says that we will need coins so Harry will sort that out. * the price should be $15 pp and Edward has found the list of stuff we need to tell people legally. There is a 600 dollar fine relating to it. It is people?s responsibility to pay that fine if they break the rules. * LARP * Annique says not a lot of news but Gavin has been saddled with emp, * Welfare Week * Made the events for it, checked and we do have tea, coffee, hot chocolate and stuff. Finley and Natasha are organising this with buzzfeed quizzes. Should we have committee themed quizzes? People are okay with this. * Relay for Life * We have missed one of the events which was the bake sale, we have not done it in the past and it is minor but we should think about this. * It is $20 right now to register which goes on for about a month before relay for life. * Camp * Sub-Committee may not be as good because they are too few to really matter and everyone has ideas and suggestions for it. Could we have a different camp committee meeting so everyone can have their input? * Annique will pick a time and then see who can come to do committee camp meetings * Annique will also like a clubroom tenancy one. We need to get this going and someone will always not be able to go. * Edward tells us that by planning so far in advance it?s the meal plan that just needs to get done. Edward can discuss ticketing with harry and bring it to the group as a proposal after estimate on food. * We don?t need to meet up for a while but Ed will keep us updated. 3. Screenings * Monday - lucifer w/simon * Tuesday - Bob Ross/Bake-off w/Natasha and Simon * Wednesday - Committee Meeting and Twin Peaks w/Annique and Jack * Thursday - Chillposting w/Finley * Friday - Pyjama Party w/Natasha 4. Facebook Pages * Screenings page * some discussion, not as much as expected, * from now on, every event, make a duplicate in the main Unisfa page as Uni Sfa * This is a trial run for the next 2 weeks so we still have a unisfa screenings page again * The current stance is that if you do not want the notifications, unfriend Uni Sfa * concern over book removal lists being lost amongst screenings post but with people commenting it should be fine. * The backlash against book removal lists and some members of committee is becoming a concern * it is a huge concern for committee as we don?t want people to make this the norm because it could put off people running for librarian or make people more likely to make targeted comments/posts * Annique will discuss this first with the people doing it and then if needed, make a post about these comments/posts * Uni Sfa * going well, no problems yet 5. Advertising club and Events * Advertising and stuff * had discussion in group chat but bringing this up so it can be minuted * The Harry Potter club is wanting to be guild affiliated which means that we are not advertised enough as a fantasy club as well as science fiction * Suggestions like posters in Arts union, flyers like tardis ones, banner up directing into clubroom, a banner outside the window facing theTav? Pride Department has one, we can see the cost and upkeep of this. * Katherine asks if we should do this after we?ve changed the logo? Annique wants to do this now because logo will be probably end of year so need to do this now. * Edward has some mocked up 2 flyers, one sci-fi themed, one fantasy themed. * we want them to be good but not busy - Corin is willing to help and art for us. Corin is appreciated by the committee. * Assignments are a thing so if people need help and are struggling with exams and study, things can be re-organised and postponed. * Book club discussions could be put on Guild Weekly but we may need an EMP, Edward will look into this * We could also post screenings on inside bathroom doors but we will do research and then start more next semester 6 Book Removal Book Appeals * One appeal this week for Spook Country * A look at social engineering, hacking, cyberpunk * will look at this next week when the committee votes Books for the Removal List * The Professionals : Stake Out by Ken Blake * In hardcover, an ex-CIA and ex-paratrooper join up to a new organisation called the Professionals, war against crime, weapons of that time * motion to add to book removal list - motion passes with 8 votes for and 1 abstention * A Kiss Before Dying by Iran Levin * ex-soldier falls in love, murders his lover by faking her suicide and then does the same to her sister. * no sci-fi or fantasy elements. But the author did write Rosemary?s Baby * Motion to add to book removal list - motion passes with 8 votes for and 1 vote against * They Sailed into Oblivion by A. A. Hoehling * A non-fiction book describing the survivor?s tales of shipwrecks such as Titanic and and the Levan, reminisces of the survivors, t. a documentary narrative * true story, no fantasy or science fiction * Motion to add to book removal list - motion passes with 7 votes for and 1 vote against * The Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris * The book of Hannibal Lector and Buffalo Bill, a more well known Hannibal book, removed Hannibal so should discuss this. iconic? well known, informs fantasy sci-fi genre. * Motion to add to book removal list - motion fails with 5 votes against and 4 votes for Books Up for Removal * The Man in the Brown Suit by Agatha Christie * A murder mystery book which includes diamond mines and archaeology * not a science fiction or fantasy style book * no appeals, no discussion on Facebook post * Motion to remove from the library - motion passes unanimously 7. Tenancy * Rearranging furniture * Tenancy discussion on Sunday - we have two weeks then exams then break so we need to organise rearranging the furniture. By 1st week of the holidays we need to know what we?re doing. * There will be a meeting at 10am Sunday in the Unisfa clubroom, if you have any opinions or ideas about rearranging furniture please come along. * We also need to look at permission for sanding floors. see how Unigames is going. * lockers * We have allocations for lockers and we received 2 little ones in the loft. Annique has been talking to tenancy and Brendan so we will appeal this. There are 6 lockers that are unallocated so far. We will try and get two or three more but they will probably still be in the loft. It?s because we don?t have big stuff so we didn?t get the big lockers. * It will be good for leverage for getting compact bookshelves. Annique talked to Chris, Taylor and Brendan. Tenancy want to get rid of the tables outside the clubroom anyway. It is possible to do so but we?d need to talk it over with UCC . May not have space for brown cupboard because UCC might want the space if they?re giving up the outside tables. Taylor doesn?t seem concerned about the weight of the compact bookshelves but Annique will still like to look at it. 8. General Business * Coffee Machine * Arts union has a coffee machine which, on their Facebook page with photos so we should look into how they?re doing it. Could ask Kai. They may be allowed because they?re in a different faculty building * Harry Potter Society * Annique will talk with Maddie Mulholland about this, * we should not refuse clubs because they take guild SOC money but we should only say no if the proposed club?s interests are already covered by a current club * we should do more harry potter stuff based on the support. more harry potter events, more fantasy stuff in general * there have been 3 harry potter clubs that have tried to apply in the last 5 years. * we have tried Quidditch but people prefer it in theory * we may apply more to niche sci-fi/fantasy stuff so we could do more fun mainstream stuff * We don?t advertise our club, big events enough or at all really which should change * Closed Section: Fridgebook * Final Decision on this: The fridge book will now be dated when removing or adding money. We will also get a new fridge book where any new money going in will be put into a new account in the book. The old one will stick around until all of the old accounts have been transferred into the new book. Finish: 6:35 Action Items Annique - first aid post, camp meal plan, food safety meeting, post on Facebook conflicts Edward - discuss ticketing with harry, unisfa posters, book discussions on guild weekly Natasha - quizzes, drawings and stuff Harry - discuss ticketing with Edward Simon - general library things Katherine - keep fresher?s alive Finley - keep Jack alive, quizzes, drawings and stuff, buy new fridgebook Jack - Stay alive Kurt - Sign up team for Relay for Life Unisfast. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Committee Reports President Annique sends her apologies that she is unable to come but here is her report. Organised things with tenancy, will talk about that later. Sorted the things about the fridge book, have a meal plan for camp (need to do costing still), had wrap up to quiz night, will talk about that later as well. Much communication with club members. Weekend tenancy brainstorm with committee, other people can talk about that later (the notes I took are under this section). Bookclub was great, I was very excited. Bought some things for the fridge. Attended Alien marathon, got bogged down in uni work aaaaa. Attended danger 5, it was so good and everyone should watch it. Vice President Chatted to Casey on camp things, went to Alien marathon and movie which were more violent than expected, did some design for posters and completed the first aid course. Secretary I ran the bake-off and Bob Ross screening with Simon and we have beautiful artwork on our fridge now thanks to Edward. And we also have some irrelevant baking reviews. Went to several screenings which were good. I also created the word searches and found all of the colouring in stuff so I just need to print that off. And went to the clubroom meeting. I?m also going to the SOC meeting after this, help me please. Treasurer Went to first aid training, did the sunday clubroom meeting, applied for float for zoo event and will collect tomorrow, made a deposit of money from quiz Librarian Ran the final lucifer screening and people are excited for the second season, helped run baked goods and bob ross. Also had to do assessments but got to rag on John Howard. Fresher Rep Unisfa found her on tumblr and she interacted with some freshers. Some are chilling and some are failing but still alive. OCM Report - Finley The kids still like chilling with Finley and Jack is still alive OCM Report - Jack Danger 5 was pretty good, mainly chilling OCM Report - Kurt Is now first aid qualified and pretty much finished the design for the camp poster 2. Events * Cameron Hall Quiz Night follow up * The Handover documents are being made * Subcommittee regulations are a success, finance (sorted), the notes that are particularly under unisfa (organisation, communication, and the role of the subcommittee) * are making the handover document for next years * profit for unisfa was $218 and the profit was split evenly between the clubs * everything chill and wrapped up * Cameron Hall First Aid follow up * people got their first aid! * Unisfa Goes Alien follow up * Reorganisation of time would be best ? we need to be aware of Cameron hall things going on, club adjacent as well as internal events. The attendance of our events depends on it * Communication with those running the events is absolutely paramount * External advertising for this kind of event ? low entry * future marathons - need to start earlier and finish earlier, make sure person running it can open the room or person opening the room will be there on time, more communication with people about how they want to run it and who will run it, * De-Stress Pyjama Party * we are organised for things, * bring blankets, fairy lights, * Unisfa Goes to the Zoo * Harry has the float all confirmed, * Exciting, post the worksheets leading up to the event (got a good response from the last one) * Make sure advertising says $16, better to be pleasantly surprised - $16 but it may lower if we have more people. * will check zoo page for any stuff happening * finley is the other primary first aider * Camp * can now submit EMP, camp meeting with committee members * Saturday after the zoo trip starting at 6pm there will be a camp meeting, no one is obliged to come but it is important * Ed has completed most of the EMP but there are some things that need to be discussed like pricing with Harry and Committee members have to think about whether they?ll go or not. * Kurt may not be able to come so he?ll send his advertising things for it. 3. Screenings * Monday - Puzzle Video Games w/Edward * Tuesday - Final Fantasy w/Tom and Simon * Wednesday - Justice League: Doom w/Harry * Thursday - Book Discussion w/Leah * Friday - Danger 5 w/Theo * Ideas about screenings * Please start screenings at 5 if you can * Can we restrict screenings to 1-2 weeks max, aside from one ongoing tv show at a time (with a preference for ones coming out atm). 4. Facebook Pages * Google Calendar * Can we update this further in advance with estimates of how long screenings will be going for * Can we put events that are planned further than a week ahead * Can we put large uni dates in there for people to see, or for people to get an idea of our events relative to these (exams, SOC meetings, committee meetings, unisfa endorsed events) - Finley will do this * Screenings page * Week three of the screenings transition ? there has been some discussion on the minutes about this * By next committee meeting, we will need to have made a decision about the screenings page and whether to keep it after the trial period 5. Advertising the Club and Events * Posters and things * Edward has made a draft poster for the clubroom events/screenings which will be updated weekly on the noticeboards * Can we please go to see the professional for posters? could go to the guilt lady for it.
