We did our action items!

2. Events

  *   Unisfa Goes Panto

  * happening tomorrow, Katherine is collecting money now and we’ve got about 5 people going.
  * more people are probably going than have said that they are going.

  *   Relay for Life Recap

  * Despite outside factors, it went really well. We’ve raised a lot of money and did 700 laps total with the top runners Jono, Simon and Natasha with 125 laps each.
  * Suggestions for next year - Simon says theme for next year, Annique is keen.
  * There was really only one club that dressed up so they automatically got the prize
  * Kurt really enjoyed it with Cameron Hall clubs staying together and that should stay.
  * We should make sure that for next year at least one club raises over 1000 so we get to stay together like this year
  * Collaboration with Panto worked really well.
  * Simon would like a schedule where you know who’s running every lap and who’s going next so we can then have a rotation going
  * Annique would like a more hilarious baton
  * Annique liked the wholesome lap at the end where the whole team went around, next time we should do that again.
  * Finley says that that was a bit of a disaster so we should be better organised next time for that.
  * Annique also thinks that personal donations like asking parents/parent’s friends should be encouraged more.
  * Actual people with disposable money, not just starving students
  *   Clothes Swap
  * Annique has had many assignments and things so she’d like to do it in a few more weeks.
  * Simon is concerned about whether this will still be a relay for life fundraising event or if we should change it to a different charity
  * Annique says that Relay for Life sticks around for a while so we have time
  * We can even not charging anything for it instead of making it a charity thing and instead just have it be a low key clothes swap

  *   SOC

  * Soc elections happened, Taylor ran for treasurer, got a good response so hopefully she gets it.
  * Annique would like to formally say that the prize money we got for the Runner Up Best Club award will be used for the refurbishment of the club

  *   Halloween Party

  * Natasha has booked the security guards for it and they will be providing wrist bands
  * Need to get licensing up.
  * The event is up on facebook, it is a Panto event because it is a public page.
  * Need to go hard on promotions within clubroom

  *   CWAP

  * Going ahead and they’ve finalised the prizes,
  * we’re now giving away 12 books instead of just 8.
  * Entries end on the 22nd so get psyched.

  *   De Stress Pyjama party

  * Event is made, people should vote on which movies to watch
  * We need more princess movies

  *   Busy bee

  * Event is made, it is on saturday, CCC needs to go or send apologies which is the same as Committee.
  * Annique will make a post

  *   Fringe Festival at UWA

  * They got back to Annique about it, they are happy about the idea of a library chill space done by Unisfa with a rug and bookcase set up,
  * We should set up a roster to mind the books
  * Simon is keen but would like a complete list of books taken down to it in case of theft so we know if something is missing

  *   Camp

  * Confirmation of booking for archery has come through
  * Currently booked for 20 people and can go up to 24 and any afterwards will need a second instructor. The quote is for $330 for that and at 2pm on the saturday. We’ve got 2 hours booked in for that.
  * Jack sent in the alcohol application and we have been given the approval. We don’t need a bond and that means that they trust us a lot,
  * They came up with a couple guidelines, they’re all entirely what we’re doing anyway
  * don’t litter, don’t take alcohol past camp site, don’t have a campfire, make sure that we don’t have amplified music after 10pm. If they have to come tell us off it’ll be at least $80.
  * Jack will be giving this to Kasey so everything is going well.
  * all logistics are sorted, all that’s left is just sorting out activities like quiz nights and stuff. House heads will be running the quiz night. A group chat will be made.
  * the Larp also needs to be sorted out soon
  * food plan is sorted so just need to buy it and work out ingredient list.
  *   Natasha is on that.
  * Harry has got the Gravity Falls episodes from Jono, Thanks Jono. Kurt can use his laptop to screen stuff.
  * Committee needs to buy camp tickets

  *   Summer events Ideas

  *   Hobbits funeral
  *   Beach stuff
  * non-screening events for nerds who want to meet up
  *   Ice-Skating
  * Slime will be for Uncharity vigil
  * Podcast thing - Finley has looked at recording equipment that we can book from Uni.
  * Kurt can do sound and audio production if need be

3. Screenings

  *   Monday - Lucifer w/Simon - Final one!
  *   Tuesday - Pan’s Labyrinth w/Harry
  *   Wednesday - Penny Dreadful w/Tim

4. Tenancy

  *   Compact bookshelves

  * at the Busy bee, Taylor, UCC rep and Annique will meet to organise everything that needs to be sorted out for the compactors. UCC is having a meeting and Annique will attend to answer questions and things.
  * Tenancy have said that everything is all good, but we just need to be approved by new tenancy, UCC and stuff. We will get to keep 1 of the loft storage lockers but next allocation may be different.
  * We can put stuff into the brown cupboard, we will need to talk about reorganisation of the room.
  * Annique is going to the tenancy meeting before the busy bee, Simon may also attend

  *   Accessibility

  * Annique has talked to Chloe the head of the Access department about accessibility to the clubroom but accessibility will probably be an ongoing issue
  * We’ll see after the guild ogm.

  *   Decorations above door

  * It was suggested to have some decoration above the unisfa door on the outside,
  * Simon also says more signs for Unisfa so it’s easier to find us.
  *   Annique agrees with that.

5. Finance Stuff

     *   Semester 2 grants

     * Harry is still waiting on the Danger 5 receipt but he’ll get on this soon.

     *   Air Con

     * Simon has called the Good Guys, it was not successful because no-one was told when a sale was on. He’ll call again to ask about this weekend.
     * want to get it before the semester 2 grant application is due.
     * If there’s a sale between now and then that’s good but we’ll get it anyway regardless.

     *   Tables

     * they have been very successful and we like them

     *   Fridge Runs

     * Harry will do one after the busy bee
     * Jack would like more oreos, Harry agrees
     * Oreo prices have been raised to $2.20

6. General business

     *   locks

     * Lock was accidentally reset to all zeros, it’s been reset now so it should all be good.

     *   Recording equipment

     * Finley has emailed them and we only get one hour recording time, we can look into this further.
     * Annique would like a small episodic podcast during the summer.
     *   something creative/analytical maybe?

     *   student leadership training

     * that’s happening in january so people who want to run for committee next year and want an edge, that’s fun.

     *   cans in garbage can

     * There have been complaints of people not recycling cans
     * people should put cans in the can bin and not in the normal bin.
