Things for Your Eyes



  *   Leadership and Treasurer Training is happening again on the 4th and 5th of April so if you want to enrol and get that on your transcript do so fast!   *   Busy Bee is on the 17th of February at 12pm, come down and clean up the clubroom for the new year while seeing everyone again in Cameron Hall before uni starts up again!


  *   ODay is on February 23rd so come down and purchase your membership at ODay prices and hang around Unisfa!


  *   LARP  is happening Saturday at 11pm until 7pm with a sausage sizzle at 4pm. It’s $15 for players with tickets sold at the door! Come and have fun with Cameron Hall while roleplaying as your favourite Shadowrun OC!

1. Committee Reports

President

Done the EMP for ice skating, went to Uncharity vigil, renovations, house sitting right now, submitted emp for the fresher welcome,

Vice President

Have been puppy sitting,

Secretary

Went to the SOC meeting, went to screening last night, helped out with Uncharity vigil, started handover secretary part, and renovation stuff,

Treasurer

Renovations, Fridge run, Transported books back to uni, Put books away and audited, Hosted two screenings


Librarian

went to soc meeting, almost finished up renovations, started audit, working on handover doc, uncharity vigil, attended a screening, made a screening event

Fresher Rep

renovations, helping with audit, co-hosted screening

OCM Report - Finley

helped renovations, Uncharity vigil, completed electoral promise of slime factory

OCM Report - Kurt

did some renovators things, stayed up 24 hours for Uncharity vigil, just chilling

OCM Report - Theo

helped out with last bit of renovations, saw a graphic designer




2. Events

  *   Unchaity Vigil

  *   Individually, we raised $185, total we’ll be getting about $17 from pizzas, people stayed which was cool, zumba class happened, went fairly well.
  *   debrief meeting is happening soon, we need more bug spray

  *   LARP

  *   This Saturday
  *   Liam will let Jack and Kurt know about what needs to get done
  *   The rules are sorted out
  *   People can come to help out as either an NPC or just a friendly helper
  *   $20 per ticket, come down and get excited!
  *   Kurt make LARP posts with more detail and share it to Unisfa

  *   Soc Meeting

  *   pros stuff announced
  *   Unlimited Women got affiliated
  *   Pac continuing to do pac things
  *   It’s not costing us anything to stay affiliated so probably won’t actively look for ways to get disaffiliated
  *   Now book the CCZ in person, now a limit on booking tables,
  *   Ref will be renovated mid year

  *   Prosh

  *   21st/March
  *   Prosher things themed - Stranger things
  *   Not our committee’s event but we can set up some stuff
  *   Some rules about breathalyzing marshals before the event and breathalyzing people that seem over the limit for public alcoholism

  *   Ice Skating

  *   The emp is through, Annique will make a Facebook event soon

  *   Busy Bee

  *   17th of February,
  *   Natasha will make an event
  *   Tenancy meeting beforehand
  *   Exec need to be there unless they have a valid excuse
  *   CCC post will be made

  *   Podcast

  *   Nobody responded to the Whenisgood
  *   Tuesday next week hopefully - briskly approaching not holidays

  *   Club Re-opening Day

  *   Monday the 26th of February, 5pm to 7:30pm
  *   don’t need an emp, just need to get renovations done and organised
  *   balloons and streamers, fake champagne, cups, fancy music, wearing fake formal clothes like tuxedo t-shirts is encouraged
  *   ribbon cutting as well to make it official
  *   Have pictures of old clubroom in the background
  *   Natasha will make a couple of quizzes for the club

  *   ODay

  *   Need to get our electronic stuff tagged and tested the wednesday beforehand
  *   Jack will post for CCC members to help out and one in the main group
  *   The Fresher Guides should be done in the next week
  *   Spotters Guide Facebook post will be made by Jack

  *   Fresher Welcome

  *   Have a couple events afterwards to get freshers to come back after the fresher welcome
  *   couple of small low-key events,
  *   Simon says that Jackbox could be a little intimidating with the volume and a lot of in jokes
  *   Jack suggests game books, like hardcore choose your own adventure books
  *   Katherine says that that would still be intimidating so maybe a book discussion instead
  *   So we’ll have a fresher book club after the sausage sizzle at the foreshore
  *   Continue with a fresher book club and then join them up to the major book club discussion
  *   Katherine says that sharing stories about how you joined Unisfa, in the fresher guide
  *   pre shitpost screening  fresher book club, just in march might be cool
  *   Something like a mini book club during common lunch hour?
  *   A book borrowing session during common lunch hour maybe
  *   Have the most borrowed books list in the fresher guide/ just a list of really rad books that we have
  *   We’d like some ideas/feedback!

  *   Halloween party

  *   we have the receipt from the Tav now so we can now have a meeting tomorrow

  *   AGM

  *   Facebook post has been made asking for constitutional amendments
  *   Logos will be in the agenda
  *   Annique and Natasha will go over the agenda together

  *   Thursday - Book club discussion w/Leah Genre Mashups

4. Tenancy


  *   Renovations

  *   walls are painted, look really good
  *   bookcases are back and look better
  *   the audit will be continuing until it gets done, set up the metal bookshelves,
  *   need to look at how to re-organise graphic novels to make accessible to people
  *   leftover paint we’re going to find a place to store it during busy bee

  *   Busy bee

  *   Do a clean of the staircases because it’s the nice entrance and it doesn’t look great right now


5. Finance Stuff


     *   Renovations

     *   Harry will look at an exact cost of the renovations

     *   Fridge Runs

     *   will do one early next week
     *   Harry will also look through the stuff in the fridge that is past its sell by date



6. General business

     *   Handover Guides

     *   OCM’s are looking at general parts of the handover doc
     *   All of our drafts due by ODay

     *   Leadership Training/ Treasurer Training

     *   Next set is in April, if you want to run for committee it is good to sign up for it!

     *   Esky

     *   Theo is donating some eskies for the club

     *   Theo will send through a request for graphic designs for sample logos in time for the AGM and then vote then for it then
