*1.      **Committee Reports*

*a.     *President
Quite A Bit Done. Sure was/10 merry. Went to a renovation meeting. Painted
wall swatches. Went to podcast meeting. No longer has frosted tips. Read
sci-fi things.

*b.     *Vice President
Went to renovation meeting. Returned all of camp things. More than you’d
think; less than you’d hope/10 merry.

*c.      *Secretary
Having fun in Japan (probably). AGM guild event approved, just need the
agenda okayed and she’ll make the Facebook event, started ice skating guild
event for tentatively the 21st of February and not much else. Unknown merry
quantity.

*d.     *Treasurer
Looked at projectors. 6.4/10 merry.

*e.      *Librarian
Prepped library for renovations. Eldritch Tales can no longer be borrowed.
Sparkling shiraz/10 merry.

*f.       *Fresher Rep
Attended renovation meeting. Did NOT crash Vice-President’s car. Our walls
are apparently super gross under the posters. 9/10 merry.

*g.      *OCM Report – Finley
Held Podcast meeting, more to follow. Found Bilbo Baggins. gay/10 merry.

*h.     *OCM Report – Kurt

Reno meeting. Acquired paint for swatches. Pi squared – e/10 merry.


*2.     **Events*

*a.     *Where In The World Is Bilbo Baggins?
Went surprising well, had about 6 or 7 people in attendance. It was fun.
Had a print-out of Bilbo Baggins that we hid and found.

*b.     *Uncharity Vigil
Set for Feb 3rd, Unigames is submitting the EMP. Reps are Simon and Fin.
We’ll make a group to organise. I’m running Slime Factory. We talk about
ideas for money spending like: a cool box for the Necromonicon, merch with
the new logo, retroactive reno money.

*c.      *Ice Skating
Possible date is 21st – 27th of Feb. Nat is working on the EMP for that.
It’s a medium event so it won’t be in Jan like we hoped.

*d.     *LARP
No more meetings. No more news. Laird is getting in touch w/ LARP people.

*e.      *Holiday Events
UniSFA Clubroom Grand Re-Opening. We will lock in date next week. Possibly
black-tie event (encouraged but defs not necessary)

*f.       *GhengisCon
It’s on the 19th! A con oriented towards students: general sci-fi/fantasy
con w/ panels, workshops, games, and an end-of-the-world party. $25 for
3-day tickets.

*g.      *AGM
Confirmed; room booked. Agenda sent out. I’ll make an event this afternoon.
Reminder: submit constitutional changes to Annique, Nat, or Fin.


*3.     **Screenings*

*a.     *Monday:

None as of yet – we’re working on booking the CCZ over the reno period.


*4.     **Podcast*
Met and discussed podcast things. Decided that we need to know way more
about the facilities before we come to more conclusions. Fin will schedule
another meeting later today. Cam will upload his minutes when he returns
from Busso. Theo recommends that we listen to Nerdzilla.


*5.     **Tenancy*
Cheap projectors cost ~$650, w/ the screen ~$1000. Let’s talk to UCC about
the projector they might be getting rid of. Someone needs to talk to UCC
re: recording the interior of the room after the renos. Committee argues
about who knows more about projects. (/s) Ed Kamman comes in and suggests
that UniSFA and Unigames collaborate with painting supplies. We discuss
different colours for the room. We require about 8 litres of paint. We are
currently thinking a dope burgundy dark red. Compactus is hopefully on
Saturday. Annique painstaking outlines the first day of renos. The
furniture is going to be kept in the loft. Varnishing the bookcases will
cost about ~$90.

Security is holding up their annual ‘we won’t open Cam Hall’ charade. They
have asked Annique to email them to obtain a key. There are many things
wrong with us having the key instead of them, both security and convenience
reasons. Hopefully security keep doing their jobs and opening the doors for
us.


*6.     *
*Finance *The Guild is still closed. No money. Harry will get money for the
renos on the 8th. He has to reimburse a couple a couple of people for the
website and reno spending.

*a.     *Fridge runs
Will be done ASAP after Guild reopens.


*7.      *
*Logo *Theo forgot to get in contact with people re: logos. That’s okay we
forgive him.


*8.     **General Business*

*a.     *Fresher’s and Spotter’s Guide
Last fresher guide: president’s address, intro to club, incl. a map,
events, sponsors, committee spotter’s guide. Kat will be in charge of that.
The spotter’s guide can be created around the same time.

*b.     *Garbage
Simon has been picking up a lot of rubbish left in the clubroom. Stop that.

*c.      *Iowa
The University of Iowa is uploading and transcribing lots of fanzines.
Should we contribute ours? Is anyone interested? Have a think about it.

*d.     *Twitter
We have the @UNISFA handle and the United Nations one is @UNISFA_1. That’s
all Simon wanted to point out.
