· Spoke with the Origami Clube about a Star Wars event
Treasurer
· Harry walked them through being treasurer
· Spoke with Theo about paying the graphic designer
· Doing a fridge run with Annique on 17/03
· Shown how to take care of the room by Harry and Fin
· No access to Netsuite (club bank acc.) but they’re working on
pestering the guild
Librarian
· Got introduced to the library
· Spoke with CWAP about the writing comp
· Emailed Van Ikin about the advanced copies
· Been helping Fresh Jade with Fresher Rep stuff
· Looked at removing books
· Made sub-committee group chats for the 40th Anniversary or Swancon
· Spoke with Leah about new convenient days for book club
· Joined UCC
Fresher Rep
· Is sick (RIP)
OCM and the Sorcerer’s Stone
· Jade maybe had a connection going for the official logo designs
but that hasn’t panned out
· Sorted out the screening on 16/03
OCM and the Chamber of Secrets
· Kurt?
OCM and the Prisoner of Azkaban
· Ryan made sure someone dealt with the Doctor Who screening,
because he realised he can’t make Fridays
· He keeps it fresh
Events Prosh
· Nice googly eyes, Simon
· Kurt can no longer manage Prosh
· Stale Jade volunteers to take over
· Simon has emailed the Prosh Marshals
o We’re situated near Unigames and Panto at Subi with a Monster Mash
theme (think: campy monster movies)
o Simon is our marshal, Kat will look into being one as well
· Collaborative Prosh Olympics with Unigames
· We need to put a Prosh event up (Jade can do that)
· Pre-Prosh all-night screening will be happening

Swancon
· It’s happening
· We have a table, we’re organising a panel maybe
· Apparently, we fund the librarian to go down and sell books?
o Simon says this is in the handover doc
· We’ll do promotional stuff, share their events
· We take a quick moment to admire Annique’s hair

40th Anniversary
· Events is aware, but we aren’t allowed to sell tickets until more
details are firmed up

· Annique and Jo will start looking at a budget
· Annique will make a WIG for the sub-committee
· Spoke to cat re: having some kind of system old guard to donate
cash moneyz to the club
· Speak to Julia from Panto re: online ticketing

o Annique would like us to have some kind of birthday artefact at our big
events this year to commemorate
Easter Picnic
· Easter this year is on April 1
· I’ll be in charge of the Easter picnic
· I shall talk to jo re: chocolate budget
· 14th of April for Easter picnic (+ RMP)
o Is then to allow for medium EMP to be put through
CWAP Writing Competition
· Messaged Mark, spoke to Mia
· They’ll try and put posters up next week
· Writings starts during the study break and continues for 2 weeks
· Concept submission vaguely around Week 5

o We go back forth about whether we should even have a theme

· I exchanged a pleasant discussion with the committee of the
origami club about ideas we had for a collaboration
· They’ll get back to me with a proposal
Twilight
· Marathon Twilight movies, runtime: 10 hours, 11 minutes

· Tues/Wed of Study Break
· Alaura is bringing this up with Unigames
· Selling coffee/pizza break?
UniSFA Goes To… A Wrinkle in Time
· The freshers like the idea of going to movies
· Ryan is going to organise the event
· Kat will go, and she has first aid
LARP
· Do we want to be part of it?
o Yes
· Simon’s volunteering, Jo steps up to help
· Simon will speak to Unigames about how it can run without Laird
being on committee anymore
· We will probably definitely push for it to happen
Camp
· Do we want a camp this year?
o Yes
· Is there member interest?
o Yes
· Ern Halliday as a location?
o Love it
o Convenient, feels isolated, lovely facilities
· We have a discussion about good ways to utilise Ern Halliday
· We lost money, but it wasn’t that much and a lot of it was due to
the change in location
· Annique will have a look at other locations as well
Screenings
· Monday: Annihilation w/ Annique
· Tuesday: Star Trek w/ Jade
· Wednesday: Homestuck w/ Fin, Cam, and Ellie
· Thursday: Shitposts w/ Fin
· Friday: Doctor Who w/ Jade, or Miraculous Ladybug w/ Fin

Screening Ideas
· NB: I briefly stepped out of the room for this subheading, and
these notes were taken by Annique
· We should do more club specific events
· Embroidery Day
· Crafts Day
· Let’s get involved with more guild weeks like welfare week,
multicultural week, &c.
· I’ll make a poll re: Homestuck screening to see when is the best
day for it
o Shitposting and Doki Doki are going to run on rotating weeks to avoid
too many screening run by the same person (Fin)
· We decide on a 15thish April meeting to re-evaluate book club
alternation plan
o Book clube is now going to alternate between Tuesdays and Wednesdays,
and Homestuck either won’t run or will be on a different day on the
Wednesday weeks
· Food based screenings
Tenancy Clubroom Rules
· They still mention a clock, and have the wrong name
· We decide to look at them by next meeting
Passwords
· Not changing them until we elect the new CCC
FB Pages
· Can you link more than one group to the UniSFA page?
o We’ll look into adding the fresher page
CCC Applications
· Simon and I will post all the CCC applications to the committee
group, so we can all look at them
· Simon will schedule a CCC reminder
Finance
· Jo’s not quite on it yet, but they’ll get there
· Fridge run on Saturday
· More soft drinks, and ice-creams
· We’ll look into selling cup noodles and also frozen meals
(vegetarian and vegan options)
· Nic has brought up the fact that return money from the zoo
doesn’t come up as a specific transaction
o Would have come back as petty cash and therefore an unspecific deposit
o We’re doubling checking with Ellie, the event manager
· We decide that Jo should start giving monthly finance reports
instead of just letting them build up to the GMs
Library The Curious Case of the Advance Proofs
· Emailed
· They’re illegal, and they take up space, they don’t look nice,
and not many people read them
· We all confuse ourselves re speaking order
· Annique thinks they’re good and interesting historical records,
and neato beans
· Jo values *novel *stuff, but also knows that there’s potential
value in getting rid of them
· We have seven secret sub-couch shelves for book hiding
· Jo asks whether the books become less illegal – probably when the
copyright runs out
· Kat emailed Van Ikin
· Let’s see which books we definitely want to get nice copies of,
which copies we are meh on, and which we ????? (are any of them ones that
are 100% out of print?)

· Rescuers by Margery Sharp
o Popularised by the movie
o More adventure fiction than spec-fic
o Simon reminds us that book removals are not based on genre
o Famous movie, committee goes back and forth over whether we liked it

General Business Meeting Times

o Committee begs itself to not do this
· We will try not to, but this is the only time we could make and i

· Simon has cleaned it out and aired it
· We need to keep it open

· She can’t invite everyone all the time

· There’s so many ways to get notified about events so we decide
not to do anything about it
