Hey, i just bought a wizard last night, and want to put Linux on it
(Peanut...), i have updated the BIOS to version 2.5 (i think 2.3/2.4 was
supposed to enable booting from USB devices!) but i can't get it to work,
not from my external CD ROM or from my USB Thumbdrive...
>From other computers i've seen, to boot from a USB device, there is a
"USBHDD" or "USBFLOPPY" ect, in the Boot Priorety lists...but its not there,
however it did add in the "ZIP100" device, so the BIOS update worked!
hopefully soon im gonna try a stick of 256mb RAM in there (i know someone
that deals with second hand laptops!), i've seen that it is supposed to
support up to 512mb!
im gonna take it back into netway tomorrow to see what they say (they were
the ones that told me it is possible to boot from a USB device....so it
better!!!), but if they can't help me, i'd like to hear wat you guys have to
say about it!
-Michael
