We're really bad at writing policy, so I would prefer if we just started
giving out accounts.

I was thinking they'd be local system accounts only, with boring
usernames (dev001 or something), and people using them would still be
required to agree to our Network Access policies, etc. Of course,
if they wanted to join UCC, that would be even better (we take PayPal!),
but obviously not everyone needs that kind of access.

I guess if someone wanted access to more than one of our machines we'd ask
them to buy a membership (e.g. Morwong and Manbo).

The thought has just occurred that I really need to get committee approval
on this, so maybe get the parrot guy to send me an e-mail
<president at ucc.gu.uwa.edu.au> and I'll let him know.
