I thought that keeping the clubroom clean was already one of the responsibilities of door membership. In particular, making note of who leaves rubbish around to subject them to account locking or dooring as appropriate.
> nightrdr : Chair throwing to be a doorable offense
When I was around, I would have doored anyone who threw a chair under existing policies, why does it need to be made explicit?

I would say that throwing a chair can be quite easily argued to be annoying and destructive.
> nightrdr : Anger to be a doorable offense
Depending on how the anger is expressed, it may already be. Do you have any examples of anger which should be doorable that isn't already covered by the above statement or other existing policies?
> nightrdr : negative emotions to be a doorable offense
Slippery slope!
> nightrdr : Running low on snax!
If only we had a permanent agenda item of Drinks and Snacks where that sort of thing could be mentioned.
> nightrdr : Tool cupboard is pretty messy, would be good to clean it up/throw out crap
Man, I sure do hate being part of a club that won't even allow members to organise cleaning up some part of the clubroom by themselves.
> nightrdr : Can we plan another LAN, given the failure of the previous LAN
Nope, the club is never going to organise another LAN ever, and thus would not appreciate anyone volunteering to make it happen.
> nightrdr : Machine room aircon broke down/iced up. Worrying, perhaps someone should look into it
I wish the agenda had some sort of permanent item for Machine Technical Reports, where related hardware issues such as this could be discussed.
> nightrdr : The 3 key on the snack machine has an insane repeat rate, you quite litteraly have to flick it to get it to register only once. Is this a hardware issue or can we actually do something about it?
Such a shame that there's no UCC Technical Discussion List for discussing things like the snack machine apparently having a faulty debounce circuit. Ooh, I know, we could give it a really cool alias like tech at ucc or something!
> nightrdr : Sacrilige still is not booting. Somebody needs to test it, finds out which drives work, which ones do not. Save what they can, reinstall windows and get it working again. Given the significance of the machine, this is very important, it needs to be done ASAP. If new HDDs are required, I would be happy to supply them.
I'm not familiar with this machine, the website hasn't been updated to include it as far as I can see. From what you say, it's just a Windows desktop, why is it so critical?
> nightrdr : Suggest a secure area for drinks and snax
Has there been some sort of problem with theft? If only we had a permanent agenda item of Drinks and Snacks where that sort of thing could be mentioned.
> nightrdr : UCC should conduct a fire drill, to my knowledge, we haven't done one before
There have been Cameron Hall fire drills before (as well as false alarms due to the tav having the pool tables too close to the alarm buttons). Correct me if I'm wrong, but UCC doesn't have any fire wardens for the building, so what do we need to practice? Leaving the room? That happens every time it gets closed.
> nightrdr : Does UCC have a Swine Flu action plan? Will we admit members to the room who display symptoms of Swine Flu?
Does UWA have one? That would be the first thing to look at. Are we going to constantly have a doctor around to make a reasonable diagnosis before we start kicking out people for the (very slight) possibility they have some disease or other? Last I checked, UCC wasn't exactly the pinnacle of healthy living, there's always likely to be some people sick.
