Yeah my failed english early in the morning didn't make that clear at all...

I was alluding to the later and I would have thought you would not want to
give someone who isn't able to make the AGM the ability to run, this removes
the ability to members to question the nominee just before voting and that
(I would like to think anyway) is more important then giving someone who is
otherwise indisposed the ability to run. Then again as you say UCC may have
a different opinion.
