Hi Matt,
Thanks for the offer! We will definitely be needing hands to help, especially when it comes to moving and demolishing things.
Assuming the project gets approval (which has a long way to go yet), we’re going to have to get the professionals in for the walls, doors, power, desks and carpet; we simply don’t have the tools or knowhow to do those things. Also, we don’t have a choice which contractor does some things because we’re obliged to use UWA contractors. We’ll definitely be doing the painting ourselves, and I suspect that most of the “finishing off” bits can come from bunnings. What sort of benefits are there to having a trade or owner/builder account?
Cheers, Bob

Hey.
I've have a bit of experience building and renovating, (more than most club members) and i currenty work and bunnings warehouse.
1 would like to a) suggest that you set up a trade account or an owner/builder account at bunnings, and secondly (and more importantly) offer my assistance in any way, be that building, labouring or making tea.
