[BOB] and I were going to look at new couches for the clubroom on
Saturday. If we don't do it this weekend it is going to be fun trying to
throw out the couches before the next cleanup.

We would like to approve outside of a committee meeting a budget of around
$1000 to purchase some new couches. We currently have around $4,700 in the
bank, and the only definite outlay we still have this year is around $650
into the term deposit, which will be covered by the interest rate from the
term deposit. TL;DR; We have the moolah to spare.

If 4 people from committee (at least one of them who is exec) would like
to consent to this, they can reply-all this email.

Why can we do it this way?

Section 22.5 of out constitution states that:

The Committee may, outside a Committee meeting, agree to a payment or
purchase by written consent of five Committee members including at least
two Executive members of the Committee. Such written consent must be
tabled and minuted at the next meeting of the Committee.

Thanks,
Mitchell Pomery
