Good afternoon,
There's been lots of exciting activities happening with the Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development (AYAD) Program which we've highlighted below and we're looking forward to another successful year.
[website3]New Year, New Website
The AYAD website<http://www.ayad.com.au/> has been launched! We've enhanced the website with a completely new look and feel, including all sorts of added functions such as videos, country information and much more. Check out what's new here<http://www.ayad.com.au/>.
AYAD Info Sessions start next month
Info sessions are on next month! There are some fantastic speakers confirmed who will share inspiring stories.
Refreshments are provided, as well as opportunities to individually speak with returned volunteers and Austraining staff. The new info session videos<http://www.ayad.com.au/discover-volunteering/info-sessions> highlight the benefits of attending a session.
As capacity was reached during the last round of info sessions, we recommend to register for a February session<http://www.ayad.com.au/discover-volunteering/info-sessions> within the next few weeks.
IT roles for all skill levels
Information Technology skills are pivotal for organisations developing their information management and technology systems, and creating sustainability. To respond to this need we have developed 21 IT assignments open for applications.
View all the IT assignments and watch a video about IT AYAD, Sean Mailander here<http://www.ayad.com.au/it>.
Opportunity to meet
Myself and colleague Chloe Truehl will be available for meetings in the cities listed below to discuss further engagement with AYAD, or to conduct presentations about AYAD. Please let me know if you'd like to arrange a meeting or presentation.
Sydney: Thursday 13 March, 2014
Melbourne: Wednesday 19 March, 2014
Brisbane: Thursday 27 March, 2014
Thank you for helping support AYAD, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions or queries regarding the above. Please respond to this email if you'd no longer like to receive AYAD news and updates. The AYAD Program is an Australian Government initiative.
Kind regards,
Briony Kent
