The bag system (a stock of labelled, machine readable ziplock bank-bags)
worked fine, for as long as the Treasurer was keen to maintain it. I
expect the current and next Treasurer will fine tune things in due course.

The envelopes add a time/date stamp, which [NEO] was keen on, to match
them with dispense logs. Could be done with a label printer or a literal
inked date-stamp. Or switch to a different coloured batch of envelopes
once a week? or..?

Bag system example:
$ bzgrep BAG ~coke/cokelog.20001231.bz2
Feb 25 15:35:00 mooneye ucc_srv: success - add 200 cents to sarah [BAG105] by bers [balance 520]
Feb 28 18:56:37 mooneye ucc_srv: success - add 500 cents to jeffp [BAG140] by nick [balance 500]
Nov  7 17:51:09 mermaid.ucc.gu.uwa.edu.au dispense: success - add 2000 cents to nick [BAG511] by ben [balance 2114]

We mostly do, but some discrepencies were suspected. Hopefully not too
major, but it's hard to narrow it down or prove one way or another
unless you audit on occasion. UniGames had to take more drastic
measures. Envelope system discussed here:
