Dear students of the University Computer Club,
I am contacting you on behalf of Think Inc. as we would like would love to
see you at our event, An evening with Steve Wozniak, taking place in Perth
on 24th August.
Steve 'Woz' Wozniak—a man who revolutionised modern life—will be speaking
in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. As the inventor of the personal
computer and co-founder of Apple, Woz will be discussing his plight as a
trailblazer, his experience inside the industry, the future of technology
and much more. The format is informal and engaging - no lectures, just a
'fireside' style chat between Woz and an expert Aussie host, followed by a
Q&A session.
We appreciate students have a tight budget, so we would love to extend
discounted tickets to the UCC. In return we would ask you to promote the
event through your database, including your social media posts, eDMs,
website posts, events listings, etc. or even helping put up event posters
around the University of Western Australia campus. We would also be open to
other ideas you think might work for your students and staff, for example
if you simply wish to make a group booking we could arrange a preferential
rate.
More information about Think Inc. and our event, An evening with Steve
Wozniak, can be found here <https://www.thinkinc.org.au/events/woz/>.
If this is of interest to you and your team, I could give you a call to
discuss a collaboration. Please let me know your thoughts.
Warm regards,
Alethea Dean
