Hi Bob,

It seems my initial judgement was too harsh, and I do not want this to 
be seen as a punishment for being honest. Mistakes are easily made, and 
your quick response was appreciated.

In the future, please ensure that you check with committee before 
borrowing items of significant value. It should be noted that this has 
been the precedent, if not specifically regulated, with regards to 
borrowing or using expensive equipment such as the Vive, monitors from 
the clubroom, etc.

Having reconsidered the circumstances, I will alter the conditions of 
the dooring such that it is effective until the oscilloscope has been 
returned to club premises, or until the next committee meeting.
