[committee] [ucc] Choice of Scheduling the OGM

Hi James,

I spoke to you earlier today and accepted your word in regards to the timing of the meeting being a genuine coincidence.

However, persons unknown are voting on expelling me from the club, with me having no prior notice of their intentions, or for what cause, even though it could not possibly be anything recent as I haven’t been involved at all since the committee meeting in which I resigned as club secretary.

Giving that:

1. this happened on two days notice,

2. that I only found because the agenda appeared in my email, and

3. that transgender people being quietly thrown out of social groups behind their back because of who we are is anything but unusual.

You should accept that the conclusion I made, even if it was incorrect was at least subjectively NOT absurd.

I’m supposed to go to see a friend tonight but after this email I’m so stressed I’m not sure I can drive properly.

I believe you are aware that previous bullying I’ve experienced within UCC has led to a serious decline in my health.

The date and time was chosen by committee considering the constitutional deadline and the fact that in my experience, lunch meetings often clash with classes and other commitments. I made the suggestion to have it around 5 pm, and others concurred.
